Picture shows the former inlet and an abandoned floodgate of the mill race from river Weisseritz to the nearby roller mill. The installation will be taken away in November 2017. After the floods of 2002 and 2013 the river bank gets hard-armoured with large rocks for preventing erosion when the river becomes a torrent and for maintaining the flood conveyance capability in the V-shaped valley. When further existing, the inlet would spoil the coherence of the river bank.
