"What a gem!! This hotel is more like a resort, but with the charm of an old, southern, colonial estate. It’s gorgeous! The rooms even have regular keys with a little brass key tag with your room number. The rooms were clean, have great a/c and tv, and a very comfortable bed. There’s no microwave or fridge which was fine, we don’t use them. The pool was huge and well kept, and overlooked the lake just like the pictures suggest. The staff was welcoming and super helpful. We walked into town and although we found it a bit overpriced, lots of shopping and dining available. We already have plans to stay again soon!"

"If you want to relax and enjoy the sound of nature this resort is a hidden jewel. I stayed there 2 weeks ago for only one night because I live only 45 minutes away from it but was curious about the resort and it’s amenities. It did not disappoint. It has a natural beauty and charming tranquility. The front desk staff as well as their restaurant staff was very attentive and pleasant."

"The staff was very professional, patient (I’m handicapped and a little slow) and offered to help with my luggage, I only had one small bag, I was very impressed by the staff. Every thing was exceptionally nice, I would definitely stay again and recommend to others."

"We had 5 rooms during our stay. We were traveling to this area for unfortunate reasons, but we were instantly made comfortable as soon as we walked into the hotel. Carmen behind the check-in desk was amazing. We had an issue that my card was charged before arrival even though it wasn't supposed to be (another person in our group planned to pay for the rooms, I had only reserved them). She was able to fix that without complaint. We asked for another issue to be taken care of if possible, and she was able to make it happen. We all really appreciated her kindness after a difficult day. The hotel itself was extremely clean and well-kept. One of the better Hampton Inn's I have stayed in, in a long time. The lobby area was a great meeting spot for everyone traveling in our group, it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast the next morning was also great. The coffee was good! The food was fresh and didn't seem like it was all premade from a box like some other places we have stayed. I would definitely come back if I ever find myself in need of a place to stay in this area again."

"This was a great choice!! The room was spacious and the hotel in general, bright and clean. The breakfast had a fantastic variety and was kept hot and replenished. Appreciated the full length mirror and reading lights. B.est of all was the friendly and helpful staff"

"What an amazing experience! Such a clean, friendly place to stay. On our way down we had TRIED to stay at a Best Western, however we left immediately and traveled on down to our destination in Florida. We found the Sleep Inn, at alot better rate and just amazed as to how clean and wonderful it was to stay at a Sleep Inn. We had children from ages 18-11 with us and they absolutely loved it here as well. I have stayed at more expensive places that were not this clean and nice. The bedding, linens, towels where all clean and the floor was clean as well. Our floor had no carpet which was a plus! The shower was great and we had plenty of hot water, (6) of us and no one had a cold shower! Breakfast was cereal, muffins, waffle station, biscuits and sausage gravy. No meats on the morning we where there. They also had a juice station. For this to not be a well known place compared to the Best Western, we hands down loved our stay here more. We slept in comfort, knowing we didnt have to worry about bugs, dirty linens, we slept in peace knowing how clean this room was! Thank you for a wonderful experience!! We will be back! "
