First of all when I arrived hotel I thought it was mistake,location is too far from center beijing, but found out it was good, actually I visited Beijing Zoo by subway , very accessible, not too far. Takes Subway line 16 ,and 7stops and transfer to line 4, and 8 srops it was great to visit Zoo...not bad at all.... And hotel was very clean and room was hot so told front desk and they brought potable Fan and Jack sent an house keeper and fixed problem in no times.. Food is great. Breakfast ...

Muy buen hotel, situado en calle peatonal muy turística, y con acceso por carretera a 100metros. Nos quedamos en una habitación con terraza, y super bien, tranquilo y limpio. Además te hacen la limpieza de ropa gratis, todo un lujo hoy en día.

Great experience for Beijing ! A quaint boutique hotel located in one of the Beijing Hutongs, it offered us a unique local flavored experience. An excellent hotel in Beijing! The concierge team was outstanding, going above and beyond to secure entrance tickets to various sights of interest for us, which can be tricky for foreigners to do on their own. They were also super helpful in booking taxis, making our transportation hassle-free. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a large selection of both Chinese and Western items. Чудесен хотел. На много добра локация. Единствената забележка е че в близост имаше ремонт и беше доста шумно. Чистотата и удобствата бяха на ниво. Има много добър корейски ресторант в хотела. Рибният ресторант също предлага невероатно разнообразое от морски деликатеси.

I have stayed at various hotels near Renmin University and this is by far the best choice in the area. I would definitely choose this hotel for my next trip to Renmin and nearby universities.

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Shangdi. It is located about 10 minutes from the subway station, of the same name. In addition, there are various restaurants, a supermarket and a 7 Eleven close by. There is also a Walmart Supercenter two stations away at Zhichunlu (exit B). The room was clean and comfortable, and the wifi worked great. Once you sign in, you receive a 7 day account. I did not watch t.v., but the bathroom was nice and there was plenty of hot water each day....

On checking in, we were told that we were booked in the Garden Tower, which was an old structure from 1987 and showed its age, and were encouraged to upgrade to the Valley Tower, that was only a few years old. I was surprised at such a significant disparity in the condition of the two towers, especially at the Shangri-la. My stay was good. I would like to give a special thanks to the staff Wu Yan who work as a room cleaner on the 19th floor. During my stay in room 1934, she was very kind, responsive and helpful.

this is an awesome hotel! i stayed for like 5 days. time stayed: MAY 1st o May 5th 2013(the busiest time in China,HOLIDAY WEEK, like our 4th July weekend ), and i got an AWESOME price like $ 150 for all 4 nights ans free breakfast buffet t for every single day!!!(BTW, the bk buffet is high-end style:fresh fruit, chef on duty, and all the Chinese and american style bk). Very nice and clean room! There is a nice desk and work station with many plugs. Bed is huge and bathroom is clean and spacious. TMOT was a little cold the first night( but there is no heat you can turn on. Cleaning lady is extremely helpful and friendly. One of the receptionists knew little about the surrounding.

If you want a hotel where you can find restaurants, taxis and easy access to the subway, then this is the hotel to stay at while in Beijing. The hotel is also in a section of the city where signage is in Chinese and a English, which is helpful if your Chinese is not very good.
