"This was my first homestay and I was not sure what to expect. The family really looked after me and made me feel right at home, I loved spending time here and found it a quick 5 minute walk to the Main Street of food places and cafes in the town. "

"Staff are fantastic. Bike rentals were included, it was extra if you wanted a moped. Rooms were comfy but there were mosquitoes; wearing bug repellent prevented me getting eaten alive! The included breakfast was delicious. Nice and quiet spot a little ways from the busier downtown, taking a bike into town was nice. Thanks for having us!"

"Perfect location to visit all the tourist attractions in the area; I recommend hiring a bicycle from the homestay and cycling to each one, it is all relatively flat. Lovely owners, amazing views of the mountains from the bedrooms. Property is kept clean. "

"Staff are super nice and there’s Free bikes to use. You can bike to hang mua and even bich dong pagoda. Wish there was a safe box. Plus the sink clogged a lot where we had to manual unclog it and we could hear rats or some rodent in the walls at night which woke me up at night. "

"Phenomenal service, cleanliness, location, amenities. Phuong is amazing she helped us with every detail. Transportation,bookings. I could go on and on. The rooms are completely private, the only shared area is the breakfast dinner area and around the pool. I highly recommend renting there bikes and riding to local attractions. The most epic place you’ll ride a bike. "

"Our stay could have been worse and maybe a different room would have been better but we were really unhappy with the room and location. Although situated close to the Hang Mua walk (about a 5 minute walk), the road it’s self left much to be desired. Maybe it didn’t help that we arrived at night, but the street was deserted with no street lamps and only 2 places to eat including an overpriced pizza place. "Nice clean hotel right across from the train station. So close in fact that you get woken by the announcements on the PA of arriving trains at three am and six am, plus the honking, idling intercity bus that boards curbside outside. Great convenient location for any and all transit needs, but don't stay if you're a light sleeper."

"Tam Coc Retreat is a fantastic hotel in Ninh Binh with a resort atmosphere and away from the busy area, but still close to Tam Coc town. The resort is surrounded by beautiful mountains and you can borrow a bike for free to explore the area at your own pace. Great breakfast buffet and restaurant with local and western options. "

"We are a Vietnamese couple living in the US and visiting Vietnam. During our stay at this homestay, we had a wonderful experience. Lily, the owner, is very thoughtful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and felt like home. The breakfast was delicious and customized to our preferences. She helped us book tours, train tickets, and transportation. She even packed some snacks and fruits for us when we were leaving. She also provided free bicycles for us to ride around and gave excellent recommendations on places to visit. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Lily"

"Beautiful serene accomodation middle of mountains and rice paddies. Can’t be better than this. Bed was very comfortable and quiet. Room had all the amenities required for the stay. Shower was nice and hot. Swimming pool was amazingly clean and big to soak long day at Ninh Binh. Breakfast was so delicious and just enough of options. We accidentally broke the shower gel container at the room and costs 150,000 VND. But the lovely lady at the reception waived it for us. She even spoke to the grab driver to take us to the correct destination and waived us good bye. Such a lovely and warm people who makes us feel very comfortable. Thank you for all your help Moung Village. Highly recommended stay in Ninh Binh."

Beautiful oasis tucked around rice fields.

"This is a lovely resort that offers peace and calm after coming from Hanoi. The grounds are lush with an inviting swimming pool. They offer bikes that you can ride around on which was lots of fun. The rooms are well appointed. Be aware you are not really close to amenities but taking a bike or a Grab to go into town to eat is very easy. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We can recommend staying here! "
