"This place is an underappreciated gem. It lies on the banks of the Rio San Carlos with 24 individual cabins. The rooms are very spacious and nicely appointed. While the pictures show the cabins overlooking the river only around four or five of them actually do that. I spent three nights here in August, 2018. The property lies only 11 kilometers from the border with Nicaragua. This area is remote and very hot and humid and the cabins are not air conditioned but have a ceiling fan and a powerful...

"The house and grounds are beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous looking over the lake. Pool was fantastic. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Check in easy and there was even a welcome basket with fruit. Would stay again. The only thing people need to know is that it is 45 min to La Fortuna even though it looks closer on the map. This didn’t bother us but if you are expecting to just pop in and out of town you need to plan accordingly from a time perspective."

"A beautiful view! The town the home is situated is very cute, friendly people, well appointed grocery store and a couple of great places to grab some local cuisine. The place itself has some gorgeous views, a beautiful property surrounded by fruit trees, and Macaws that greeted us every morning and many evenings.
