"North Coast Place was the perfect spot for my brief Marquette trip. Located just a few minutes outside of town, this renovated roadside motel did the trick with its ease of access and simplicity. "I travel a lot and have stayed in many VRBO's. This apartment was one of the best! It was also priced very well, so it was a great value. I am from Marquette, which is a very walkable town, so the location was perfect. Laura and Matthew were wonderful and always responded quickly. "We were up for the Ore to Shore mountain bike race and this was the perfect spot for two couples. Enough room for the four of us to hang out plus had all of the accommodations needed to cook a pre-race meal. Proximity is prime as it's walking distance to everything downtown. If we do the race again (or are ever just in the area...), we'll be back!"

Nice area outside to relax in the evening around the gas fireplace. Nice place to stay for 2 if your looking for something simple and inexpensive yet clean and cozy, close to some cool history of the area and not too far from Marquette. "

"Owners are good people and live at this home full time. The upstairs apartment is cozy. Their 2 pitbulls will sound the alarm whether at the door to the apartment from inside while you shower, use the back bedroom, or as you pull in the driveway, or when you go downstairs to get something from your vehicle..... Pen was built, but used once in awhile. Had to stop and wait in the driveway for owner to casually corral the corral the dogs before getting out of my vehicle my vehicle. "

"This home was a wonderful stay for an extended family vacation. The home was spacious and well stocked. The outside area was wonderful. Our only negative feedback was regarding the lake, this is more of a fishing lake than a water sports lake in our opinion, and our boat was too large for this lake. Not the fault of the owners and we were able to enjoy their pontoon for the week which was very nice! However we would not bring our boat back to this location. Otherwise the stay was perfect!"
