"This was our 7th visit to Penventon Hotel. As always we had a very warm welcome from all the Staff. They all go above and beyond to make our stay fantastic from the Manager Alex to Reece Amyanf Josh in the restaurant . Wes and Rob in the Bar. The breakfast ladies to Danni in the spa and all the other ladies in the spa. It always feels like home from home. Truly exceptional and outstanding Staff and expiernce Kam & Jac"

"A wonderful place away from all the modern noise, we had a lovely week in Cornwall and the barn was a perfect base for our days out .The whole place is perfect, the living space is comfortable and we loved the large sofa .I had several lazy baths which were a treat and the shower was lovely too.The bed was very comfortable and combined with the peace and quiet we both slept very well.All in all a lovely experience and would love to go back sometime."

"Large car park with more than enough space to park. The building externally looked less than desirable, however, immediately explained at check in that they are in the middle of renovations and a pre warning to keep the bedroom room curtains closed in the morning as the painters can start early. Room six offered plenty of space to work, a good WiFi signal, very comfy bed and a dated bathroom with shower. What the bathroom lacked in panache it more than made up for with a never ending supply of hot water and a bath towel that a full size adult could use (thank you). There is a restaurant and a separate fish and chips takeaway on site, on Monday and Tuesdays the chip shop takes over the restaurant so dinner options are limited, however, I had a very nice haddock, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce which was easily a 10/10 but be warned the portions are large. The only downside, I'm a six feet 20 stone bloke - if someone had come unannounced into room six they may well have regretted it, if my daughter had been alone in the room she would have been nervous.....as once inside there is no way to lock or secure the door from the inside. The door can only be opened from the hall by a key, but, the inability to secure the door from the inside may make some solo travellers nervous. All in all a very good night sleep, comfy stay and enjoyable experience. Travelling for business / solo traveller."

"Great little Airstream caravan, very clean and tidy, and well equipped. Plenty of room to park next to it. Acres of space outside to hang wetsuits etc. Steve and Emma were very friendly and checking in and out couldn't be easier. Excellent "

"The tent was wonderful and very comfortable. The host Steve met us on arrival and showed us the are and the equipment available to us. The shower and WC are about 50 yards from the tent. Plan ahead for a coffee or tea as it took a while to boil the kettle. Parking was easy. Ideal site for many attractions. A lovely view from the tent."

"Very special place, peaceful and quiet. Viv was a wonderful host, especially as I was a lone traveller. Gorgeous bedroom and balcony up in the apple trees, lovely views. Dreamy. Would love to return and just wish I could have stayed longer."
