"This property has so much potential and I really hope the owners are able to make it everything it could be. Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. You are provided with a small gas heater, however it simply isn't capable of heating the space on a cold night. The bedding is summer weight, and there is no insulation, so the cold really bites. Excellent stay at the Metropole hotel.

"We enjoyed a lovely time at the Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service. Breakfast was also delicious and had a good selection of hot and cold food. I would definitely recommend a stay."

"lovely traditional pub, room was lovely had everything we needed, pillows were amazing, bed a little soft for my preference, bathroom clean and very nice spec. breakfast was nice, good quality produce. staff were very friendly and helpful. i would definitely return for another stay. "

A Gem of Place

"We were delighted with Nant Ddu. Hotel. Our room needed a little TLC, but the overall surroundings made up for any shortfalls. The pool andsurrounding areas we very clean and swimming was a joy. Breakfast too, was excellent. We had a delicious evening meal, but it was pricey. We really recommend Nant Ddu and hope to return one day."
