"This has to be the most homely, cozy place we stayed at on our travels this time. The room was well decorated, with comfortable furniture and the bed was made up warmly for the cold nights. Everything we needed was there and the staff/owner was friendly and helpful. The motel was well situated near amenities. We both felt safe and relaxed - it has a lovely ambience."

"The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, and we felt the price was very reasonable for the facilities provided. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. There was no buffet breakfast, but the cooked breakfast was generous and excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Rydges Armidale and would happily stay again. We would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Armidale."

"Warm comfortable bed and room on a cold Armidale night after a long drive. There was wonderful fire burning downstairs which radiated warmth throughout the guesthouse. A sunroom provided some lovely afternoon sun on arrival. Easy walk into town for an evening meal. Attention to the little details made this guesthouse a great experience."
