Mt. Bristen in the Canton of Uri. Bristen rises to 3,073 m/10,082 ft. It's a really impressive sight to see from the train! I'd love to do some hiking around there, too :).

Amazing View!

"The view from this hotel is why you want to come here, and it does not disappoint. It is truly amazing! Staff was nice and check-in was easy but it is definitely a trek if you are wanting to explore Lucerne and use this as a home base. Without a car it is about a 1 hour trip via public transport. And Ubers/Taxis will run you north of $150 to/from Lucerne."
