"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was adorable and in a very convenient location. The owner left great instructions and suggestions for where to go and how to get around, which was very helpful with a short stay. The back porch was so wonderful to sit on, and we had everything we needed to make our meals and relax. A few more days' stay would have been great to have. I will note that if you have mobility issues, you may likely have a challenge navigating up and down the steps to the house, to the loft bedroom, and to the beach. Sitting on the toilet and showering were interesting for our tall people, as well. Fortunately, I still have some decent use of my joints and just took my time, and our taller family members just hunched. We adapted. I just wanted to let anyone who is physically disabled or particularly tall know about those items. Thanks for a great little getaway, Teresa!"

"Everything was good, standard hotel/motel stuff: little coffee pot, mini-fridge, microwave, tv,a/c - everything worked as expected, furniture, carpeting, lights, bathroom all looked newish and everything was very clean. Desk folk were pleasant, didn’t have much interaction. The big plus is the location, right by a huge marina (if you like looking at boats) and the Calvert Marine Museum- combines natural history and the commercial history of the area, has the Drum Point lighthouse (you can tour) and a boat tour of Patuxent Harbor, plus fossils, river otters, fish. Calvert Cliffs / Flag Pond parks are a 10 minute drive if you want to dig for fossils yourself. So: comfortable place, very reasonably priced, close to all sorts of stuff; definitely worth it."

"This house was perfect for a short summer getaway with our family, including our 2 grandkids! The beds were super comfortable and the layout of the house worked perfectly for two couples and a family of 4. The boardwalk in Solomons was lovely with beautiful sunsets. We loved the outdoor sculpture garden, the Calvert State Park cliffs by the beach and the awesome mariners museum. The food at the Pier was outstanding, as was the ice cream shop next to the bait and tackle place down the street. All in all, this was a great visit! Glad we found this house to accommodate us so well!"

"Anne was super responsive and helpful! The house is spacious, comfortable, with an extremely well stocked kitchen - plan to cook! We had our very first seafood broil ever, thanks to the equipment on hand. There are plenty of kayaks and a canoe, with easy access to the water. The screened in porch and deck were stellar for a summer trip when (as expected) the bugs are out in full force. When you’re there, make sure to go to Emily’s Fresh Produce farmers market about 5 mins or so down the road for fresh everything and some of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had."

"Wonderful home with plenty of space. Large bedrooms made it easy to accommodate our family of 19. We had a few hiccups with pool and air conditioning but Ginger was super responsive and very helpful in getting everything fixed as quickly as possible. The dock was great. The pool was a nice feature for our family. Everything is a bit worn and I think a deep cleaning would be helpful, (especially the high up areas where dust accumulates) but we will stay here again!"
