Arrived with a reservation. Room was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly. Easy check in and check out. A lot of people complain about small stuff, like a rusty toilet flange or wall patch showing through the paint, but you have to realize a lot of these places are old remodeled "motels", identifying as "hotels". As long as the room is clean and everything works, I'm happy. It's not your home, so no need to quibble about the small stuff. With all that said, I don't think it's worth $70 for a 20 hour stay at "any" motel/hotel. I only stayed one night. The location was quiet and the bed was somewhat comfortable. Again, it's not your home or your bed, so no bed is going to be as comfortable as your own. An added memory foam topper would have gotten it close though. Location was okay, with a 10 minute drive to the beach. AC was set to 68 degrees when I arrived and the room was good and cool. I left the room as close to the way I found it as I could. Clean. Would stay again. Didn't have the breakfast, but it would make the price more appealing if a hot breakfast was served, such as eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, grits and such. I never was a fan of cereal or a cold breakfast.
