The Resort at Gulf Shores Plantation

Our whole unit has been redone with new cabinets & appliances and some new flooring.

Views, views, views! This unit has beautiful views in every direction. The sugar white beach with natural sand dunes and sea oats, the sound of the calling sea gulls, all contribute to the appeal of this gulf front unit. No streets to cross-located right on the beach. Our condo is bright and airy with side windows that allow for great vistas. Drink your coffee on the balcony and enjoy the sparkling gulf waters.

We have a gated community with 24 hour on-site security. Free parking for two vehicles per condo. Our first floor, one bedroom, one bath unit is cute, clean, and comfortable. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a single bed large enough for a child in the hallway. There are two flat screen TVs with cable. Linens are provided with the unit but bring your own beach towels. Towels are provided once. They are not changed out daily. There are washers and dryers steps away in the hall. Outdoor barbecue grills are available throughout the complex.

WIFI is available in the condo. There are six pools with one heated outdoor pool (early spring and fall) and an indoor pool and hot tub that makes swimming available year-round. Our unit has a view of the one beachside pool. Indoor and outdoor spas, lighted tennis courts, a Pickleball Court, putting green, exercise room, horseshoe pits, a basketball court, and shuffleboard round out a list of activities available at our condo.

For those who like their food really fresh, fishing off the beach or in Mobile Bay located across from the Resort’s entrance may provide you with dinner. Depending on the time of year, there is Parasailing, and beach chair and umbrella rentals. World-class Kiva Dunes Golf Course is next door. Kiva Dunes is a nationally ranked golf course. Sassy Bass is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner located at the bottom of the high rise. It has a new outdoor bar and seating area.

A short drive provides a variety of seafood and steak restaurants, Tanger Outlet Shopping Mall, OWA amusement park, Waterville Water Park, Putt Putt, go carts, Deep Sea Fishing, and many more golf courses such as Arnold Palmer’s Cotton Creek. History buffs may want to tour Fort Morgan jut down the road. As you can see, your stay at the Resort can be laid back and relaxing or activity filled and energizing. The choice is yours.

Great location, great view of pool and part of beach from unit. It is a little tight for a family of 5 but doable. Very quick and easy access to beach. It is away from the crowds in town.

Sweet family trip

My mom and I enjoyed our stay. We found everything to be clean, comfortable and as advertised. Instructions were very clear and helpful. Location was excellent and easy to get to beach, although we only got to go twice due to weather. Would rent again.

A bit small but nice

Overall stay was great. Condo was a bit small but not too bad. I was a bit difficult identifying the property until you get out of your vehicle and walk up the steps. We would definately stay here again. Property was very clean and beds where comfort table.

Great place to stay!

We loved the location of the room. Very easy for loading and unloading our luggage and beach gear. Perfect view of pool and beach. Very clean room. Communication with the owner was always very quick and easy. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great for a short getaway.

The property was as advertised. Great location at the beach. Walking distance to restaurant and bar. The bedroom mattress wasn't comfortable for us but that's personal preference. Would consider staying again if available.

Good family spot

Our stay was good for our little family. It’s a 12 mile drive to town but it is quiet and peaceful. We had issues with flies and gnats during our stay. Other than that, we enjoyed it very much.

Perfect for everything!

My husband and I wanted a quick and easy beach getaway with our 4 year old twins and 7 year old. This place was PERFECT! Easy access to the beach and easy access to the pools. Being on the 1st floor and on the corner of the building made all our outings perfect. We will definitely be planning to come back.

Nice rental

Cute rental with needed amenities. The sleeper sofa is comfortable. Pools are easily accessible. No problems encountered. Contact with owner was great. Recommend this rental for a family of 3 or 4 due to it being a smaller, but great, unit.

Fabulous location

If you are looking for a quiet place right on the beach, this is it. It really is a great location. And it’s exactly as described. But make sure you look at how many square feet because the pics make it look bigger. Also the laundry facility only takes quarters so make sure you have some if you want to wash your clothes. It’s a great unit and when the pool is finished right outside the door, it will be even better.

Gorgeous view

The property was spacious and the view was gorgeous. the maid had not washed the mattress pad which was gross. dryers were not working and there was noise from repairman. enjoyed the close proximity to the beach

It sleeps 5 but best suited for 3 because it’s hard to share one bathroom with 5 people and move about the condo. i Didn’t like that it was 30 minute drive to town. The boardwalk was close by and made it convenient to get to the beach The pool was just a few steps away. So this unit is located in a good spot.

Needs to be sprayed. Dealt with roaches, silverfish & ants in bathroom. TV channels greatly lacking. Some channels not coming in because of what seemed to be problem with satellite including weather channel. (we were there during Hurricane Ida)

Gulf Shores Getaway.

Excellent location. Views were beautiful from balcony. Pool side and ocean views. The only questionable issues were the excessive noise from the upstairs and next door units. The noise from the upstairs tenants was very loud and disturbing for much of the day, everyday....sometimes to 11PM. Parking was great. New door lock worked great. All windows needed washed. We could hardly see out of them. Sofa was not comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Very limited storage.

Overall it was a satisfactory stay, however the condo was a bit dirty.

The view was perfect. The bathroom was a good size for just two people to use, but would not recommend the 5 people the condo can sleep. The kitchen sink was awkwardly small. The condo was not very clean. The shower curtain was moldy. There was food stuck to the base of blender, there was food splattered on leg of dining table, floor and wall. I would not rent the condo again in this condition.
