Shorebird @Island Tower - 3BR/3BA Direct Gulf Front Corner + Daily Beach Service

3BR/3BA unit updated from top to bottom. New furnishings in the living area in 2025. New queen bed in back bedroom 2024. High end appliances and updated kitchen! Great deck furniture which is comfortable and will never rust! Enjoy our slice of paradise.

We no longer have a soaking tub in this bathroom but do have a very large shower and a sprayer and bench.)

All our rentals from May-October will have front row beach service! (2 chaise loungers + umbrella set up for you daily)
Island Tower is the most luxurious condominium in Gulf Shores. It has only 65 units (3 per floor) allowing for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing sanctuary. This unit features panoramic views of the beach with spectacular sunrises and floor to ceiling windows. This specific unit towers above the all the other buildings allowing for truly unobstructed views for miles from the living room and bedrooms. The large balcony off the living room and master bedroom is truly breathtaking and a perfect setting for relaxing. The second balcony has beach views along with views of Big Lagoon and Oyster Bay. This balcony is directly off of the second and third bedroom.

This unit has been decorated in a style that is both luxurious as well as comfortable. The gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter-tops and beautiful cabinetry. In the living room you will find a flat panel TV with DVD. Great kitchen appliances. The master bedroom features bright new furniture, inviting master bath with walk in shower and double sinks. The walk in closet provides plenty of room for clothes regardless if you are staying a week, a month or more. There is a TV, ceiling fan and a fantastic beach view.

The two other bedrooms have floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors that lead out to a balcony featuring Gulf and lagoon views. These rooms have TV's, and ceiling fans. One of these bedrooms has a queen bed (brand new 2022) with a private bath, the other has two bunk beds with the bath in the hall.

Island tower is set-up for families to enjoy with an outdoor pool, indoor heated pool, sauna, charcoal barbecue grill, exercise room overlooking the beach and gulf. In addition, families can enjoy a children playground and beach services where you can rent umbrellas and beach lounges by the day or week.
Island Tower is located on Beach Blvd just 1/2 mile west of Highway 59.
Quality restaurants and leisure activities are nearby.

This Gulf Shores condo was amazing! The balconies and full glass windows on the 24th floor of this corner unit made for outstanding views from ever angles. From watching dolphins in the morning to pelicans flyinh close the windows, we saw the best of the gulf front views. Short stroll to the beach and my granddaughter enjoyed the pool. Nice location. Well furnished and super clean. We plan to return!

Great location and condo

Excellent stay!

We had an amazing time at Shorebird! The condo was fully stocked and the views were unforgettable. It was in an excellent location and the beach access was so easy. The only negatives would be the parking garage and navigating a large SUV through the turns going up and down levels, and one of only two elevators being down so wait times were long. Nothing that the owners can change but just a heads up if traveling with a large vehicle. Even with those issues we would definitely return when coming back to Gulf Shores!

Beautiful view of the beach and the town

My family and I overall enjoyed our stay, we decided to take an extended vacation for 2 weeks and this property allowed us to spread out for our own space. The view was spectacular, we saw dolphin, even the storms were awesome to watch, a double rainbow when we arrived. This property was stocked beyond what I have ever experienced in a rental, we paid it forward and restocked. There were beach chairs & toys to sit closer to the water. Binoculars were in the unit which came in handy often. There were a few things that were disappointing. The indoor pool was out, we found out its been out for over a year. Its the only reason we booked here, going over budget to ensure we could swim with so much rain in the forecast. We had 3 days of storms all day and several days of partial storms and couldn't use the inside pool that was out of order. I wish that had been noted or communicated. Parking situation like others mentioned was frustrating. The sheets on the master bed were worn with pilling, (maybe we just got an older set for our cleaning) one of the king sized pillows was missing and later found in a closet with stains on it, replaced with a small pillow on the bed. The security guard treated her job like the warden of a prison, berating everyone constantly. I realize that shouldn't reflect on the unit itself, but it did tie into a negative presence that everyone was constantly complaining about on the property. We love GS and look forward to coming back next year.

Perfect

The views were spectacular. Comforts of home away from home. Everything was perfect for our family vacation. The beach chairs provided were a plus. Fireworks from the balcony for the 4th were amazing.

Nothing to write home about

It was ok. Property was clean enough. Property manager was unresponsive. Elevators are inadequate. Beach is extremely crowded. No additional supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, soaps. Would not stay again.

Incredible View

This place truly has a WOW view…the pictures don’t do it justice. The space was perfect for our family of 9. Had everything we needed, it was clean, new appliances and decorated so perfectly. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location!

We recently took a girls trip (6 of us total) for 6 days / 5 nights. Location is perfect, right on the beach. Views are absolutely stunning! Balcony is perfect to sit out and relax with your morning coffee and a book. Cons: one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Given the length of our stay and amount of people this was gone through very quickly. 1 roll of paper towel and 1 extra trash bag. Might be fine if you’re only there for a couple of days or not planning on eating at the rental but by day 3 everything had been used. Notes say to “pay it forward” and replace items if you use the last of them… I wasn’t planning on spending money on items to stock the place. So that was kind of annoying but not a total dealbreaker as we all said we would definitely stay again. Elevators (2 for 26 floors and we were on the 24th floor) were slow but it wasn’t an issue for us since the building didn’t feel overcrowded. I wonder if it would be different if we had come during a busier part of the season. Front door doesn’t automatically lock when you leave which we didn’t realize until a few days into the trip. We wrongfully assumed since there is a keypad that it locked when you closed it, that was our mistake but be aware so you don’t make the same one as us. Overall we loved the space, we utilized the beach chairs/umbrella service everyday. Loved that a set was included and rented more so all 6 of us could relax under an umbrella everyday. Very relaxing vacation! Close to the hangout which was a very cool atmosphere at night with live music. We will be back one day!

Enjoyed stay

The condo was very nice. Pictures are accurate Beautiful view. Beach wasn't crowded. Would definitely use it again. Note to owner: The toilet in the hallway restroom needs fixed. It was clogged when we arrived and almost everytime you flush you have to take the back lid off and mess with the chain for it to fill up and stop running. Also light fixture in ceiling of master shower is coming loose. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us.

Wow -that view!

The condo was extremely nice. Here are some of our favorite things: -it was clean -the view was spectacular -lots of room, individual bathrooms was a plus. -living room was comfortable - plenty of kitchen utensils/supplies/equipment -the owner was east to get a hold of and quick to respond. -quick access to the beach. -included chair and beach rental (loved this!) Our downsides: -the indoor pool and work out space was closed all week -having to keep up with a key for the pool bathrooms -parking lot is a tight squeeze. Overall it was a great location and we’d stay there again!
