"This property was beautiful and we had a wonderful room. We were able to use the pool while we waited for our room to be ready. Parking can be tricky. If I had to pay to park on the street I would be very unhappy. Some maintenance is needed but nothing major. I would like to have staff on site to answer questions, however, my texts were answered within 1/2 hour. I would like it to be a true b&b with breakfast. Loved the all day coffee, water, and ice. Very convenient. Very close to Duval...

"I enjoyed my stay at the Duval Housr. It gave me the feeling of being in old Florida, but with modern amenities. It was centrally located and is convenient to many of the old town places of interest. I also liked the continental breakfast with the vanilla yogurt, fruit and granola that was put together by the staff. The waffles, made on request were also wonderful. The property is picturesque and had a nostalgic feel. Overall, my stay was delightful!!!"

We had a private patio with lounge chairs and an nearby dipping pool which we never had to share with anyone! It was clean, cool and in the shade! There are 2 other pools at Ambrosia. "We came for a two night first time visit to Key West. It's a great Bed and Continent Breakfast place. Great staff and we lucked out with an early check-in after a sunrise drive from Miami. We accidentally missed an item in the room while checking. Got a text from the managers who offered to mail it. That's was a great offer because orher places would have just held it and kept it for themselves. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. It was a great place to stay. "

"We had a spot on the 2nd floor on the very end near the entrance, and the unit had carpet that seemed damp whem we came in. No smell, was super clean, large and luxurious beds etc but carpet should go. The check in was amazing. Loved the pool, the restaurant, the staff and the.little beach was wonderful. There is a strong odor outside from the water that smelled lile sulfur. We werent sure what causes that, but it didnt affect the pool area, only the beach and environs..I read that it might be...
