"It would have been a 6 out of 5 if that had been possible. We felt like guests more than renters. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating, including letting us feed and pet the horses, and sharing fresh vegetables from their garden. They also built a fire for us, amazing starry night right by the pond, serenaded by a symphony of frogs. Very pleasant stay, would recommend."

"While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. "Amazing property nestled in nature. Lots of room for the family and to kick back and relax and enjoy the beautiful natural setting. Only 15mins from the ferry or from Downtown Victoria though. Only regret is that we didn’t book for longer but will definitely be coming back again."

The suite is immaculate and stocked with absolutely everything one might need: all the mod cons and a pantry of snacks and spices, shampoo and conditioner in a shower that WORKS, comfy bed and snuggly duvet .. "We've been to this property many times however there were a few snags with this trip. We asked if a playpen was available via email and phone call. We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure. There was zero water coming out of the top floor bathrooms sink, and the bath trickled water - so it took 45 minutes to fill it if you wanted to use it. I informed management via...

"stayed at the west over BnB for 2 nights an it was great, close enough to town but you feel so private and remote tucked away with the trees. Martin was so kind and welcoming, offering great suggestions for the activities I wanted to do; breakfast was delicious and the outdoor tub under the full moon was magic."
