"A spacious and comfortable house in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking a canal. There is plenty of outdoor space and you can enjoy walks along the canal. The owners, who live next door, are exceptionally kind and helpful. Highly recommended, especially for families."

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Maison confortable avec une belle vue, un joli jardin avec son propre étang (que notre chien a utilisé avec gratitude) et un air merveilleusement pur. Depuis le jardin, nous voyions chaque jour des oiseaux de proie voler de l’autre côté de la vallée. La maison est située le long d'une route très calme. En tant que résident du Dutch Randstad, vous pouvez vraiment vous détendre ici. De nombreux beaux itinéraires en voiture ou à pied. Les magasins de Lormes se trouvent à 17 minutes en voiture."

"Le gîte est très sympathique, spacieux et agréable avec des espaces couchages bien définis et suffisamment de sanitaires et salles de bains pour tout le monde.La région est très jolie et parfaite pour les amoureux de la nature. Nous regrettons simplement l'odeur parfois dérangeante qui remonte de la fosse sceptique, et l'espace extérieur un peu petit proportionnellement à la taille de la maison."

"Really nice stay here, in a bungalow that felt at home right away. Clean, all kinds of amenities. Good beds, beautiful outdoors. It is good to know that the bungalow is on a d-route. It was not that busy, but you did hear cars go by.for the rest everything was wonderful, and Hakima was a wonderful host! "

The owner made many thoughtful changes when they renovated the house - lights that turn on and off automatically , well appointed and stocked kitchen , comfortable bedding , clean bathrooms , great shower pressure and plumbing , excellent doors and windows - the list goes on and on . "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte en bordure du canal du nivernais. Le cadre est parfait, au milieu des bois, dans un jardin parfaitement entretenu. Le gîte en lui-même est très bien, petit mais en parfait état, propre et bien équipé. Il y a une grande terrasse avec salon de jardin, transat. Le seul tout petit bémol est qu’il manque une penderie pour pouvoir suspendre des vêtements. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la fois dans ce gîte et dans cette région. Le calme et...

Amazing

"We loved the property. Although it’s old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but it’s worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again."
