  • This spacious, newer house sits on a .5 acre, professionally landscaped lot at Jacob's Beach in charming Guilford. The house has unobstructed ocean views to East, West, or South from all common areas and bedrooms and is steps to a sandy beach and playground. The property is convenient to local restaurants, coffee roaster, grocery shopping, boutique stores, and outlet shopping. The area boasts interesting cultural activities such as Mystic Seaport Village and Aquarium and New Haven museums, famous pizza joints, and outdoor summer theater.

Fantastic vacation house with water views throughout the property and a short walk to Jacob's beach. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable for two families. The playroom on the first floor was a great bonus with kids. Judy was an excellent host. She was readily available for any questions.

This home was in excellent condition. Everything was quite fine. Minor glitches were lack of hot pads & lack of a railing on either of the sets of stone steps. Loved the deck & watching the Osprey’s tending their chicks. Could not find an actual path to the beach.Overall excellent. Host very accommodating!

We had a great stay! We appreciated the host leaving the Christmas tree and other festive decorations as we were staying over the holidays. The house was great as usual - we have stayed before - with enough room for everyone to spread out and nice places for everyone to gather. The host is always very responsive.

Wonderful views!!

Home was very comfortable and a great location. The views were spectacular. Owner gave us great recommendations for restaurants and nearby attractions.

Fantastic home, close to all that Guilford has to offer, beaches, dining, great water views, easy ride/walk to town green and historic Whitfield house. Super comfortable as we had 6 big adults.

Our stay was the 2nd time we planted our feet at this property and we were just as happy with this stay as the first. Great location and amenities. Property was very clean and the host responsive to all our questions. Would highly recommend this property to others.

Great location near the beach

Beautiful home and Judy is a great host. Has everything you need and close to a nice little beach and playground. Nice views out over the water, good places to walk, explore the coast. We had a great getaway.

Guilford with a View

This property is beautiful and the house is spacious and well equipped for a wonderful stay. The host was attentive and easy to contact when it was necessary. Such a fantastic choice for a stay in a delightful town.

Family Getaway

Great location with the beach, playground and splash pad right there. Beautiful sunrise and sunset viewing from the wrap around deck. Nice property.

We had a wonderful stay in Judy’s property! The home was clean and very well equipped. Its proximity to Jacob’s beach and the beautiful new playground was a big hit for our littles! Definitely recommend!

Just perfect

Our stay at this property can only be described as perfect. My family and I all felt very much at home. The views are quite stunning and we all enjoyed the abundance of sea birds, particularly the family of ospreys. Many conveniences nearby. Highly recommend this property!

Family beach week

This was a return visit to this property that is just a short walk from Jacob’s Beach and park. This beach is great for children as it is protected from large waves and is shallow for a good distance out from the shore. The house has lots of toys for the children and plenty of room for everyone.

Guilford vacation

Beautiful home, excellent location with great views of the ocean. Beach access nearby with playground. Toys and activities for children. Well appointed kitchen. Town offers easy access to food and necessities. Some great little shops.

Great place

Great house with nice open layout in the living room, dining room kitchen area which made hanging out with our big group of 8 people very enjoyable. Well appointed kitchen, everything you need for the beach (chairs, towels), etc. Amazing views of the coastal area and the ocean. Communication with the host was very easy. Nice area to explore and enjoy. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure!

Our Family Gathering

We all loved the setting and layout of this wonderful house. The kitchen is amazing! Our meals were easy to make together. Lots of space to gather together for a surprise Baby Shower. A great playroom for the little ones. The bedrooms were so comfortable and plentiful. The highlight for the little ones was the jacuzzi!! We want to come back to this lovely place.

Heavenly area

Very New England area and this property is next to a marsh area so you feel you. are waterside. House is large and spacious,well appointed. It was a pleasure to be there.
