Hidden Falls Guest Cabin

This is an exclusive and unique destination! HIKE RIGHT OUT YOUR FRONT DOOR UP TO YOUR OWN PRIVATE LOOKOUT! Experience your own private views of Mt Washington, Franconia Notch and the White Mountains.

This cabin is located in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods while still being close to all the local amenities. Shaw's grocery store, Polish Princess Bakery and Copper Pig Brewery are only a short 10 minutes away in Lancaster, New Hampshire.

Situated on 200 acres, the cabin is modern and cozy. Miles of private trails leave the backyard of the property and meander through the woods gently climbing to beautiful vistas of Mt Washington and the White Mountains. In the early spring the property produces maple syrup and in the summer it is a working farm with many different vegetable crops.

The cabin is stocked with everything you will need for a few nights or a few weeks! It is equipped with a full kitchenette, bathroom, shower, wood stove and high speed fiber internet. The cabin is also100% powered using renewable energy from solar, wind, and hydro power.

Inside the cabin you will find a comfy queen sized mattress. All linens/blankets/pillows and towels provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, and a propane stove top.

In the yard there is a giant fire pit for big campfires. On clear nights you will find yourself sitting out watching the most incredible display of stars you've ever seen!

There is something happening during every season here! In Winter break out the snowshoes or xc skis. In Spring and Summer take full advantage of the hiking and beautiful places to relax around the property. When the fall comes, the changing colors will leave you breathless.

Our proximity to other great outdoor destinations means you will never run out of things to do and places to explore!

In addition to being just down the road from Lancaster, we are also close to Burke Mountain, Bretton Woods, and Cannon for skiing and the renowned Kingdom Trails for mountain biking. Miles of snowmobile trails are also located a few miles from the house.

Guests can use all spaces and walk anywhere they want on the property. There are some utility sheds that guests will not have access to. The owner lives in the main house adjacent to the cabin.

Cleaning is a priority for us and we make sure to provide a clean space for our guests.

Perfect get away
The host is lovely. Cabin is clean and cozy. Trails are a mixed bag. To the lookout is very passable but the others seem to be getting overgrown. The lookout is spectacular. Location is IDEAL. We drove all around northern VT and all over the white mountains. Beauty in every direction.

Picturesque land and a cozy, eco-friendly cabin that was perfect for a dog-friendly getaway. I would recommend as a home base for adventures in the NEK.

Winter Getaway!
we had a great stay at the cabin. It is just as described. We hiked up to the overlook on a beautiful bluebird day and were treated to views of the Green Mts. The second day we went for the short 2-mile ride over to Cow Mountain Pond. A must see during your visit. We had the park to ourselves! Overall, a quiet, comfortable place to stay. We look forward to the next visit. only suggestion, if you are visiting during cold weather bring a pair of slippers or heavy sock. The cement floor can be chilly.

Stars in the sky
The stars were the most memorable part of our stay. After the rainstorm the night before, the night sky was crowded with stars and shooting meteors, something we will not forget. The pine cabin was clean and rustic, excellent hot water and water pressure. Pots and pans great quality to cook with. Holiday dishes could be replaced with neutral ones and ones without cracks in cups. Bedding and pillows on couch and bed could also be replaced with less worn new ones (we slept in sleeping bags we brought, on top of bed). New dish drain towel would be most welcomed (we didn't use it due to its age/appearance; we used paper towels instead to catch dish water). Some arborvitaes planted between main house and cabin would create some welcomed privacy. Some lawn care to create a beautiful view from the cabin window would not go amiss. We tried the trails but they appeared to be perhaps damaged from storms. The cabin is off-grid, so be ready to conserve. That said, we were very grateful for a pet-friendly low-key clean location. It was quiet overall except for an occasional late night car driving in to the main house just a few feet away. It was also easy to find. We loved the smell of the pine wood walls and ceilings.

Very nice and quiet place to relax for a few days. The cabin was clean and cozy. It was only a short drive into town for anything we needed, yet far enough away that it felt like a real getaway. Close to tons of parks and hiking trails. Wish we never had to leave.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods
This cute little cabin has everything you need for a great stay in northeast Vermont. It was super clean and exactly as described. Andrew was a great host. We really appreciated being able to bring our two Great Danes along, and hike from the front door. If you're looking for a little bit of "glamping," this is your spot.

Breath taking views.
It was absolutely beautiful. The owner was nice. Beautiful little cabin, the view of the mountains were breath taking. We did a little exploring on the property. We whated to go to the overlook but the snow and some ice stopped us because we were not familiar with the terrain. So we took a side of caution and decided not to risk it. We want to go back mid spring and do the overlook. It was a great getaway!!

The setting was incredible and it was very clean and comfortable. Why would I stay in an overpriced 3 or 4 star hotel when I could have this place at the same price or less? Owner was SUPER helpful and thoughtful too.

DO NOT RESERVE- overpriced ,dirty, not as described
Host was not ready for our arrive time of 3:00 Host property is VERY (maybe 10 ft)close to the cabin. Dirty inside and outside of the cabin along with-dirty linens-pots and pan, ( we made sandwiches ) hair in shower and sink, 5 filled poop bags outside the door(GROSS)so-called patio covered with leaves and trash. We did having sleeping bags with us so slept on floor., due to the dirty linen. We had traveled 5 hours to get to the cabin. e did not enjoy our 2 days stay. It caused stress rather than providing relaxation. This is a bait and switch. I WOULD LIKE OUR FUNDS RETURNED!

Deep wood getaway
We spent three nights at this property that is located bout 7mi from the nearest town on 200 acres with private trails, two ponds and a waterfall. The cabin is well built with propane hot water and heat, as well as an excellent wood stove, small kitchen and closed-in bathroom with shower. We walked straight out the front door to several trails on property. Our dog was super happy to run off-leash in a safe environment. The property is far off to avoid secondary light and the little night sky we saw was spectacular. The closest town is 7mi/15min away, great bakery, restaurant/brewery and supermarket. We prepared almost of all of our meals on site with gas burner and pots/pans available (bring your own seasonings!) Definitely recommend this, even in winter as a quiet oasis and retreat.

Great place to stay!
We loved our time here. The cabin was in a rural location complete with its own trails and waterfalls. Since it is on the VT/NH border, it made traveling to the mountains and scenic byways in the area very easy. The bathroom with the walk in shower was so handy as was the small kitchen and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the small, threadbare towels and the absence of washcloths. This is something easily remedied. I highly recommend this cabin.
