"I would like to say that the Duty Manager Louis was one of the most helpful members staff I have met recently and went beyond his duty to accommodate my needs. He is an asset to the hotel. The hotel is ideally situated in the town with great restaurants not far and walkable to all shops and pubs. "

"First time staying at this hotel and will be the last severe lack of stuff I may as well put the sign that they have constantly on reception saying they will be back shortly on their payroll. Time given for food service wound correct spa area is unmanned with no towels for use At at 1 am, there were other people staying in the hotel that were very drunk arguing fighting music blasting loud alongside a TV which went on until after 2 am. Again tried to contact reception not possible to get someone to come and resolve the issue. On check out the receptionist couldn’t have been any less interested and she obviously knows it’s not a good place to stay as she didn’t even ask whether to stay with them was okay"

"The Pub is wonderful, very friendly staff, we had the Sunday lunch with was big and delicious. Rooms are very spacious with a lovely modern bathroom. It's a very dog friendly pub but there's only one negative point which is there is no bin to put the dog poo bag in. There is a great garden at the back with a stream which will be great in the summer. We had a great stay thankyou peach pubs."

"The Hotel and room were lovely. There was no one on Reception when we arrived and we had to phone a number and wait. The room itself was lovely. We then had a concern that the shower was not hot enough, and were told it would be looked into. The problem was not corrected."

"The room was clean, unfortunately there was quite a lot of mold in the bathroom. The sleep we had wasn’t great and the beds was so comfortable that I was really looking forward to a decent night sleep. I think the hotel need to be mindful when children are being booked on and to maybe place them away from people who don’t have children. All we heard was screaming and crying all night. The staff was amazing, the food was out of this world and worth it!! I would return, just hopefully have a good night sleep if I did "

"The Manor House is old and lovely but for winter months is it very cold and very damp fromWindows we was freezing The kitchen and dining area described as outside dining is freezing The bathrooms and toilet system over flowed and leaked response from host lots of toilet paper we booked this size house as 12 people accommodate I don’t feel it was excessive use and people should be able to use the toilet and wipe Leaks upstairs sink soaking carpet we had to put towels down Constant dripping from the showers host complained boiler usage again 12 people staying for 12 days in the rent if we wish to shower 4 times a day we can who knows if the leaking taps shower was constantly hot Lights he complained lights left on we left a couple as was working our event and was dark very dark when returned so left on for guidance apparently this is not allowed when rent the accommodation We also feel the owner was in the home when we was not around and we felt uneasy he constantly gave an excuse why he had to enter when we was not in This accommodation is not for extended stay and 12 people in winter some of us worked during the day from the house and that was an issue Swimming pool is a walk it outside along the drive over another most bridge it is not attached to the Manor House that is rented no use at all in winter months The access road of the main road is terrible pot holes what are dangerous and could cause tyre damage also no lighting so becareful "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Stables. It was very tranquil. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The property was clean and comfortable. Two highlights to mention. The laundry facilities were excellent. There is also a very pleasant walking path from the Stables to Shere that takes about 1 hour. For those not used to driving on narrow English roads, be sure to come in from the north through the village of Farley Green. "
