"The gite is in a great location, a short walk from Doelan, which is a picturesque small port on a small river estuary. The host, Jacques, was very welcoming and friendly. We had some lovely conversations with him. He is a real gentleman. He showed us where the local hidden beaches were located, and advised on coastal walking nearby. Would very much recommend this property. It is great value for money."

The house and the garden are in good shape and care is taken for details - have a look at the stairs! or the hearth. You have to travel a short distance to get to anywhere - the beaches, towns, bakery - but you need not travel far. So if you'd expect all-inclusive, kids animation, spa and Ibiza-like party, this is not you place. But you already decided to visit...

"We hadn't stayed in this part of Brittany before and the houses location made some wonderful places easy to visit. The house itself has everything you need , the garden areas very well kept with plenty of seating areas. Mickael gave us a warm welcome and a house tour ,the house was clean and presentable and was just a very calm and relaxed place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, I would highly recommend staying here ."
