B&B in Guatemala

"As its name is, it is a home converted into a small hotel. Our only problem was with orbitz as we booked 2 rooms with 2 people each and Orbitz changed it to one room with 4 people. The hotel gave us the two rooms when we explained what had happened "

"This property is nice enough. Though the room was very small, we’re always out anyways. And thankfully they provided a fan, it gets a little warm the room doesn’t have AC. The property is very cute, staff are very helpful. Breakfast was good. I like that you could use the sister Hotel’s pool & gym although we didn’t have time to do it. The place is very quiet and very relaxing. I highly recommend this. Good value for money!"

The area was quite safe, and guests really got a feel for what it must have felt like to live there during the Spanish invasion of Guatemala. "

"The room was gross. There were bugs and ants all over in the bathroom including the toilet. There were no towels. The linen was not clean. There was no one in charge on the property, the kitchen lady had to call someone to check us in. The kitchen lady also left around 7:00 PM so the security guard got us some towels. I paid for three nights at 125 USD/night during Holy Week and we only stayed one night. It was that bad. I've traveled the world and I don't complain much, but for that kind of...
