"O hostel é extremamente deplorável, eu saí às pressas, perdi 2 diárias sem o menor peso na consciência só por pensar em ter que ficar nesse lugar. "Poor experience given the price paid which was $30 per night for a dormitory. The breakfast buffet is minimal and dissolved quickly by people who literally thrust it into their bags without any oversight, and from thereon it isn't replenished correctly for all the other guests.The guy responsible for making the breakfast was super rude too. "I was only there for two nights. They did a good job of letting me in and out of the building. They also let me store my belonging while I waited for check-in. That was very nice. The bathrooms weren't ideal. The part that I really struggled with was the horrible beds and the bugs that were everywhere while I slept. I probably got about twenty bug bites while staying in that hostel. "

"Originally booked 1 night and ended up staying for 3. Really wonderful hostel in a beautiful building. Rooms are clean and comfortable and everything works well. The location is fine, if not ideal--lots of grocery stores nearby though not restaurants, 13-min walk from the metro, and centrally located between Copa and north Rio--which I think helps keep the price great. The common areas are quite nice, if not particularly social. Thanks for a great stay."

"Hostel is amazing - provided you are pretty chilled and roll with whatever is happening. Had a brilliant stay, it was the perfect location to explore the city and surrounds; but also for Carnival events. Rooms were comfortable (had air con @ night, but fans through the day) and were fairly quiet. Unfortunately I don't think the room is swept often and the bathrooms got dirty very quickly; likely from a couple of plumbing issues which meant the floor in bathroom usually wet. "I arrived overnight, which was not a problem at all. Made my reservation with expedia and everything was smooth. Only stayed one night to catch an early flight, great experience, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Alexander was very helpful and accomodating. I definitely recommend this place."
