"The food at breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices, the hotel was immaculately clean and the spa was so relaxing. However I would add that it was our honeymoon and I had emailed ahead to let them know this as I ordered champagne and nibbles for our room to surprise my husband. Not one person at the hotel acknowledged our honeymoon - I wasn’t expecting it to cost them anything but a message in the room or a well wish from staff would have been nice! It felt like any normal city break in Berlin which was a real shame! We got engaged in the Steigenberger in Cairo and they were so happy for us. I was really disappointed that it didn’t feel special."

"We had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Berlin. The hotel itself is well-maintained, comfortable, and ideally situated. The highlight of our visit was without a doubt the breakfast—the variety and quality of the spread were exceptional, with fresh, delicious options to suit every taste. "This hotel was stellar. I will be booking it for my next stay in Berlin. It was in a walkable location to everything I wanted. The morning breakfast was very satisfying and convenient. The staff were polite and attentive and helpful to questions and my needs. Great job!!"

"Person at check in wasn't great....didn't even speak German, gave feedback the next day about that and a couple of other things and that member of staff went above and beyond! Breakfast situation was odd.....seems like the restaurant is a popular brunch spot so not so easy to book, service was extremely slow and somewhat sullen.....would not recommend the breakfast piece. Other than that the rooms are small but beautifully put together, great location for Berlin west."
