"Guesthouse Hof was located along a quiet road on one side and beachfront in the other. It is in a wonderful location with lots to see if you’re willing to drive a bit. Leila at the front desk is amazing and has handmade Icelandic wool items for sale."

"The property is beside the sea, with Mount Kirkjufell as the background. We caught one of the best sunsets of the trip there. 5 minutes drive to the Viewpoint of Mount Kirkjufell Waterfall. The grocery store in the town does not have many varieties of supplies and closes too early."

"Small and cozy room upstairs in a guesthouse. Shared bathroom was nice but busy when all other guests are using it. A bit noisy too when other guests arrive. Kitchen has everything you need. Free use of geothermal bath and sauna for guests was a great surprise. Restaurant had a breakfast buffet but a bit expensive for the variety. Plenty of parking. Beautiful surroundings although next to a freeway (about half a mile) with nothing in vicinity but a single gas station."
