The hotel needs refurbishing and the bed made creaking noises whenever I moved and wasn't particularly comfortable. The receptionist Angelique was friendly and helpful, and I was able to store my luggage the following day."

"This is a beautiful property. I was visiting family in Piacenza for 6 days and Domus San Martino felt like a home away from home. The manager, Enrico, is friendly, efficient and kind and upgraded me for the second part of my stay to a huge room with a balcony and big bathroom. He was always super responsive to any queries and also suggested an excellent local restaurant and made reservations for us. The room decor in the second room was especially lovely and everything was impeccably clean (thank you Lourdes!) There was a bit of road noise (if you are staying in the front rooms) but it didn’t bother me too much. The location is very central and I was easily able to walk all over the town with regular stops back at my room for a rest / to drop off shopping. All in all, excellent value for the price and I would definitely recommend it."
