The front desk folks are friendly and welcoming, the property impeccable, my room (a single on the top floor) a delight. I didn’t have breakfast, but I’m sure it would match the standards of the hotel in general. Not expensive and the convenient location makes it an obvious choice for a traveller arriving by train. "The price, space, location and friendliness was a high rating. When I dropped off my car rental late at night, I wasn’t able to reach a taxi cab. I texted a family member at the hotel and the clerk called a taxi to pick me up at car rental and drop me off at hotel. That meant a lot! The bathroom could have been cleaner but willing to live with it for price, location, space and friendliness. We got two double beds (one was a couch but was ready for us). We just needed a place for the night, and...

"On the plus side: the breakfast was ample and attractive. Eggs were made-to-order. On the minus side: The elevator is barely big enough for two people with packbacks and is frequently out of order. On the plus side: the handsome, next-door restaurant serves excellent food graciously. The courtyard is lovely when the weather is good."
