"Excellent spa and connection to thermo"

"Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual wonderful buffet breakfast. Adequate evening meal but then chose to eat out in the evening for the other two nights; wanted to experience more. Didn’t use Spa or swimming pool; too much to do and see elsewhere in the vicinity to include in our three night stay. "

"OMG this was beautiful! What a fabulous experience...a delicious, fresh breakfast was included with a table set for each guest...the restaurant for dinner was amazing and reasonable, the rooms were comfortable and quiet. There is a giant cobblestone hill to climb so be in good shape and the tv didn't really work but we didn't come to watch tv...also Kronach is very lovely. "

"It is conveniently located close to a supplier, the room was clean and of a decent size. The bathroom had all what was needed. Pretty German countryside location, not many means of transport available if you don't drive. The restaurant is good."

"Apartment was super clean and well furnished. The bed and the entire apartment were very comfortable. There is a nice area outside the back door where we ate some meals. It has a retractable awning so you can have shade or sun. Fred, the owner, met us at the property and showed us around and introduced us to the neighbor. He was very responsive to our text messages when we had questions. He also gave us some good tips about places to visit while in the area. He told us about a local bar/pub that we enjoyed very much."
