"A great place to stay with kids--so many things for them to do. And, of course, the close proximity to Yosemite is another huge plus."

"Very nice lodge. You can get everything you need in here. Seriously, you can spend time here without leaving the property and you will be good taken care of. They have general store onsite, which has everything you might need, ranging form ice cream and beer to fresh coffee and food. They have clean pool with a view and with evening bbq events. Next to the main reception area, you can find the awesome restaurant that open until 10pm in the summer, game room (ping pong, snooker, table football/hockey), bocce ball, recreation center where you can book tours, etc. We stayed in the vintage cabin. It is clean, modern and cozy and it has ac, shower, fridge, safe, coffee machine, etc. Staff is simply the best: no snobbism, no entitlement, no "I'm tired leave me alone" behavior. They just great, normal people. TLDR: we enjoyed it and will be coming back. "

"Great location and just outside the park. Very clean. Only downside is the food options. The pizza place was great. The restaurant was dated and just ok. Overpriced and you have no other choices. "

"Wonderful small hotel that's about an hour away from Yosemite. My friends and I (3 people total) booked a family double room which consisted of 1 queen bed in one room, 2 twin beds in another room, connected by the restroom. We found the room to be clean and comfortable. We should note that the shower was a bit awkward to use, since it's basically just a bathtub with shower curtains surrounding all sides of it (as opposed to, say, curtains covering part of the tub and a wall on the other). That said, we didn't really have any issues with it. We arrived at the hotel pretty late (probably around 10pm), when there was no one actively working at the front desk. That said, the owner, presumably Finn, left us a key to get into the hotel and further left us the room keys with my name on the front desk, so it was easy to get into our rooms. Speaking of Finn, although I never got to meet him in-person, Finn was very responsive via Expedia chat and answered all of my questions, so I very much appreciate him for that. Some other minor things to note: - there's free simple breakfast, consisting of fruit, donuts, and muffins. There's not a lot, though, so it's probably not a bad idea to have your own breakfast ready. - there is a fridge, although we did find that some other guests took some of the water that we left in the fridge, even after labeling them. Overall, a very wonderful hotel. I'll definitely come back whenever I go to Yosemite again :)"

"Beautiful location and close to Yosemite park entrance. We stayed two nights and it was a great place to come back to at the end of a few long days. Be sure to get your directions laid out ahead of time due to spotty service in the area and reach out to the owners for instructions on how to operate the AC. The owner is very accommodating and will help with whatever questions you have"
