"Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and the rooms were immaculate. However, the hotel was a bit dated and would benefit from a bit of a refurb. The pool area was a good size with plenty sunbeds but a bit unkempt with weeds around the paving however it didnt stop us spending most of the day there once or twice. We enjoyed our stay and was good"

"A warm welcome at reception, immaculate and comfortable room with Elemis toiletries in the spacious bathroom. We booked sea view rooms, and enjoyed looking over the harbour and across the bay to St Helier. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel were very enjoyable. I recommend taking the Dolan Loyalty Card - useful discounts on spending at the hotel and its partners on Jersey."

"I was somewhat annoyed that neither Hotels.com or the hotel gave us any warning about the long-term renovations which must have been planned when we made our reservation a long while back - we were informed 10 days before our arrival! That said, we were upgraded into a room with a sea view and experienced no problems - we were out of the hotel 09.00-18.00 Thurs-Mon. The room was spacious with a great view across the bay, clean, comfortable bed, kettle & drinks, quiet fridge, quiet a/c, effective black-out curtains & private bathroom. Wifi fine, large TV. Only niggles with the room were the smoke/fire detector at night flashing up in the ceiling a bit like a disco & weak water pressure in the shower. Staff were helpful & friendly. Breakfast well stocked with a good range. Parking plentiful. The Terrace is open but restricted due to the building works & we were unable to find seating in the shade on our 2 attempts to use it. The hotel is about 10 mins walk (via the gap by the commercial swimming pool & pizza restaurant nearby). The ferry to Elizabeth castle is about 5 mins walk. We found it easy enough to walk in & out of town or to drive around the island from the hotel. Good position to walk to the Battle of Flowers arena along the Esplanade. Would be happy to stay again if in the area."

"We have stayed here a few times now and the experience is always the same and that is enjoyable The staff are very firendly and no task is too much for them. Buffet breakfast is just delicious and well worth getting up for :-) All in all, we have enjoyed our 4 night stay, yet again and already looking forward to when we can visit again"

"Stayed 4 nights with two teens. They loved the pool and garden. It’s a bit outside of St Helier so a car was useful. Pool bar and snacks were good but expensive. Didn’t stay for dinner as a 3 course menu only from 6.30-8pm which was more suited to the package holiday crowd. There was 70s style entertainment in the evenings."
