Great spot for water view...Paul's Pasta next door in an institution and the area has charm if you ignore some of the run down, vacant and blighted buildings. Staff is very nice and friendly.

The hotel was clean, and staff was very friendly and helpful! Definitely needs updates. We had a kitchenette with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. NO silverware, coffee cups, glasses. 1 pan, 2 bowls, 1 plate, 1 spatula. Great if you're passing through but not long term.

I made a last minute decision to come here, and am I ever so glad I did! The staff is so sweet, and the room is like a studio apartment. Great deal for the price. The pet fee is low and the river is right outside the door and you can watch the ships go by. What a gem!

For a 2 star motel this place is fine. The price for Connecticut is low so for the price it is not bad. It does have a full size stove/oven and refrigerator. No food available but some great diners with 5 minutes.

Definitely would stay again!

Wayne was an awesome host! We had a nightmare of a hotel room before immediately leaving there and coming to this property. Wayne was able to immediately accomodate us and was so friendly. I loved the view of the water and its location in a historic and quiet part of town. The property is somewhat dated, but that didn't affect us at all. I highly recommend eating at Puffins just right down the road too.

Sparsely furnished but well-kept rooms. Great location but badly unkempt grounds. No coffee anywhere. Hardly worth the relatively high price.

Office was a little shock. Can use some work. The cleaning lady (Sam) was very nice. Room was clean. She was very helpful. Laundry facilities were very good. Party took place outside on the balcony about midnight the first night. If you had small kids this would have been a no-go.
