"Good apartment in a quiet neighborhood that is a beautiful 15-20 min walk to all parts of Interlaken. Great location, surrounded by other chalets with a grocery store and restaurants nearby. Owner was generally quick to respond to a couple questions I had. Super easy to check in (got note saying it was available for earlier check in) and check out. Only caveats I would have is the ceilings/beams, doorways might be a bit low for are a bit low if you are over 6' (or even 5'10") and the larger bed...

"We had a lovely week in the chalet which is in a great location with plenty to do in the area. The chalet is basic and reasonably clean- perhaps a little expensive but we did go in August. Upon arrival there is the charm of the church bells and the cows with bells in the field next door. However after hearing the church bells chiming every 15 minutes throughout the whole night it was rather difficult to get any sleep! The key holder is a friendly man and the check in/out process straightforward."

"Was only there for one night but it’s a nice clean spot. The bus station is very close to get to Old Town and other spots."

"You must have a phone or internet in order to check in. Very inconvenient for international travelers. There is no reception. No one physically present. Internet was an issue during the stay. On and off (mostly off) during the whole stay. Best bed ever. We had a twin and requested a change to king. It was fine immediately. The mattress topper was amazing. Excellent linen and pillows. Room was good though there were some minor finishing touches. "
