"We really loved the property. The attention to detail, the pool and hot tub, all the little things made it really special. The property is about a 15 minute taxi ride from the train station. Offering a shuttle for a fee would be nice touch. Beds and amenities were everything you could ask for. Also a lovely spot to chill for a few days after Rome or Florence, busyness. Restaurant on site is lovely. Breakfast had a lot of choice and was delicious, with a lot of homemade and local ingredients. As there are no restaurants close by, the only choice is to eat there. With this in mind, our recommendations would be to ask about food allergies and sensitivities to accommodate everyone. Horse back riding was for experienced riders only. That said there is a horse farm close by that is suitable for all. We thoroughly enjoyed our Agritourismo stay and would highly recommend them. "

"The apartment was dark and faced the restaurant with a high hedge opposite. The 2nd bedroom was in the apartment ceiling and the room was very dark. My daughter was not happy to sleep in it. It was also accessed by open slippery stairs. This was not described within the apartment details. If so, I would never have booked it. "

"One night’s stay at Fattoria for me, my husband and our 17 year old. The hotel is geared up for a family who love their activities - a full timetable of events, football, tennis, a mini farm and 3 pools. The main pool area was lovely, with a well-stocked pool bar. One thing worth noting, as is sometime the Italian way, this hotel has swimming caps as compulsory. My 17 yr old was not impressed. I think this should be made clear on the website as he did not go in the pool as a result!! (I bought a cap for 4 euros and had a great swim!). We ate in the pizzeria on site (about 15 mins walk - it’s a large site!) We ate outside and could see the outdoor grill/chef busy at work. Good value and great service. Hotel bar had a good atmosphere so we had a drink before bed. Breakfast was served buffet-style in a large room. All very nice. Bedroom was abit dated but OK, we all slept well. Lots of parking spaces. We visited Castiglione della Pescaia but it was very busy and hot. Looked lovely but we didn’t stay long. All in all, lots on offer if you want it. Good hotel in a great spot.
