"Beautiful cosy cottage with many period features and stunning Wye Valley view.The drive up is scary - a hairpin bend that can only be done in first gear and reversing up the hill to get into the parking spot. Much wheel spin happened while we got used to it! 4X4 recommended.NB - there is a TV but no satellite box so get used to watching in real time again or light the fire and watch the flames.Bring your own extra loo roll, sharp knife and tin opener and be prepared for fridge tetris.So quiet...

"My family and I enjoyed the stay at this property. Beds were comfortable, hot showers and plenty of bath water for a long soak after walking up Pen Y Fan which is just down the road. Kitchen well equipped, lots of space at the dining table. Stairs to the bedroom are steep which is normal for this type of cottage. There is a lovely outdoor space at the back. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. "

The house is very nice with lots of little touches that made a big difference (well equipped kitchen, board games etc.).Peaceful location with access to lots of nice walks nearby.Host was lovely and even made us some homemade treats for when we checked in. "Property was so cosy and clean. The views were to die for. Extremely remote snd lovely and quiet but not too far to be able to drive to certain places. Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in."
