"Not a waterfront property, it has a view of a crowded public beach at the base of a steep climb. The bungalows are cute and clean but very modesty furnished with cheap furniture, thin towels, and minimal kitchen. The owner won't provide a gate code so one often has to street park and drag self, groceries, and luggage up an arduous, steep climb. The restaurant is seldom open, in a week and coming and going I never saw anyone eating there. No window screens, lots of mosquitoes and no-see-ums to join in the late night racket from beach parties. "

The gardener, is constantly grooming the abundant green plants and the colorful flowers of the lush garden surrounding the property. My wife and I have spent three wonderful weeks at the HOTEL DOUCE VAGUE, and we felt at home.We highly recommend HOTEL DOUCE VAGUE for their top-rated beachfront location, the excellence of their services, and the reasonable cost of the stay.
