We only had one significant complaint - it was unbearably hot upstairs. We couldn't get the thermostat downstairs under 80 degrees, and upstairs felt even hotter. I see comments from other reviews that we should understand "historic home" to mean that the temperature cannot really be controlled, which is...

"We were in town for a Family Reunion. This house was perfect for us, with bedrooms to spare! The pictures online were exactly as is. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was in working order. We took the Ferry back and forth to the Cincinnati side. Everything was so convenient. Thank you so much, Wanda!"

"Let me just say this rental was way more than we could have expected. There were 9 in our party and we had plenty of room. The kids and young adults loved the downstairs and spent most of their time there. The two bathrooms were adequately stocked with towels and toiletries for us. The host reached out several times during our short two-day stay to make sure we had settled in and to make sure we didn't need anything!! The location was perfect not too far from anything. Quiet neighborhood!!!"

"Comfy beds, 9/10 on cleanliness, wish the kitchen had more supplies and better coffee. No shampoo or conditioner available (I forgot mine), but it’s a big house, lots of room, loved the room with the extra air conditioner (I have achy joints and can’t sleep unless it’s cool), easy check in, but a huge delay between communications (4 hours) he let us check out a half hour later which was appreciated. Overall I could sleep and we had plenty of room and the price was right."

"My wife and I spent a few days in the area to take in some Reds games and see some other attractions in the area and this place was perfect for that! About 25 minute walk to GABP and only 10 minute walk to several great restaurants. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Would love to give a 5 star but have to be honest in my review. The property at the time of my visit had a huge ant problem in both the bathroom and kitchen. I pointed this out directly on the “owners” feedback page but no response or acknowledgment. Other than that it’s a great convenient location. As per other reviews the walls are thin here so no matter how quiet people try to be upstairs you will hear everything. Just hope you and the other occupants are on the same schedule. "
