Waterfront Retreat, Lake Limestone

"The sunrise and sunset views are beautiful. There is plenty of room to visit with family and friends. The outside deck has wonderful views of the lake. We had our dog with us. There is a gated pen in the yard with shade. The neighborhood is very quiet and the roads are easy to walk your dog on. All the bedrooms are upstairs. 2 of the rooms have French doors which open up to another wonderful deck. There is plenty of room to cook in the kitchen and the refrigerator has plenty of room for food. Our only issue was the stairs. All of us are in our mid to late 70's, 2 with hip replacements last year. There is a partial railing on only 1 side of the stairs, which was difficult for us to maneuver. The other side of the stairs has trim. Fortunately, there is a half bathroom downstairs."

"This was a great hone. Lots of bedrooms and spacious.it was clean, had plenty of outdoor space. There were plenty of dishes and towels, The ac was cold which was great because it was 104 degrees outside. The dock was in good shape plus there was a small house with a pool table and games. The house slept 10 adults easily and the owner kindly let our family member park their rv in the driveway and plug in so that their cat was safely cooled. They were in the total head count that we paid for so it wasn't a free ride. It was a little spendy considering it was only for 2 nights, but we really liked the home and highly recommend it. Plus, the host was very responsive, answering our questions quickly."
Waterfront Home on Lake Limestone w/ Dock

"We make an annual trip to Lake Limestone with our children and grandchildren. We have stayed at this house a couple of times now and it works out perfectly for us. Plenty of room and it is waterfront property with a dock so we always bring our boat. The owner is very accommodating and is easy to reach regarding any questions we may have. Definitely will book again."
