"A classic 18 century coaching in with Ultra modern facilities and Michelin level food the staff are really helpful and can’t do too much for us helping us tune our TV to ensure that we had ability to watch the World Cup games. The food is a different level to coaching and could be a Michelin star restaurant the court outstanding and the quantity very generous. I would highly recommend this coaching in the Brown horse for either stay or a meal either way you’ll enjoy yourself. I’ll probably keep...

"Only small gripe was the shower head had a bit of black mould on it and one roller blind came away whilst I was closing it. Luckily my husband was able to clip it back in quickly. Room and bedding both clean, grounds beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was fantastic, quality hot cooked breakfast and very pleasant staff. We would visit again, thank you."

"Such a relaxing stay! Huge room with comfortable beds and plentiful tea and coffee facilities - especially nice local touch using Herdy mugs. Spa and pool were very nice, and lovely outdoor spaces to relax right on the lake. Would have loved more time to spend a lazy afternoon in the cosy surroundings getting lost in a book. Good cooked breakfast, my husband especially enjoyed the smoked haddock and poached eggs. Would love to come back and stay longer next time!"

"A wonderful old country house for an overnight stay. The staff were exceptional, from check-in, through evening meal, to check-out. Welcoming, friendly and professional. We had an excellent meal in The Grill. The view from our room was spectacular."
