"Had a very surprising experience, paid £65 for 1 single room and didn’t expect much due to the price, just something cheap and cheerful, maybe a bit dated. Room massively surpassed expectations - view of lake Windermere, minimal white/grey design, really clean, and to top it off, an amazing power shower that went ARCTIC COLD (for those who do cold showers, this one’s for you). Had the best stay! Also, it’s right next to the entrance for the walk up to Orrest head for a full panoramic view of Windermere. Perfection. "

The location was perfect for the lake and other amenities in Bowness just being a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was nice good choice and excellent service. Would definitely recommend. "
