"The sulphur smell was quite disagreeable when we arrived and we almost left right away. We went over to the Blue Lagoon nearby, and realized the smell wasn't too bad. Once we got back to the Inn, the smell was nearly gone. We didn't even notice it the next 3 days."

"This was the nicest hotel I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It was beautiful and so nicely kept. The staff was amazing. The Blue Lagoon at The Retreat was very private and quiet. Truly amazing trip. The Retreat was $$$, but worth every penny."

"We were in room 1 - it was very large. Two sofas three bedrooms three bathrooms and a large kitchen. The warm air hit us as we walked in the door - very nice. No awful sprays or other bad odors.
