"Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. "Very nice clean apartment, had everything we needed. It is small but would be perfect for a couple. We managed as a family of 4 and its in a great location not far from York. Bed is super comfy. We had a lovely time."

"Very conveniently located and well fitted out apartment room with generous courtesy provisions supplied as well. Very handy secure parking in basement for an additional charge. Only minor issues were lack of air con (room gets warm even with windows open on a mid-September day), no microwave and a slightly soft bed. NB Rooms on third floor on Park Place side also overlooked by taller balcony flats opposite."

"A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again."

"We had everything we needed to make our stay a really good one. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Everything was catered for kitchen wise. Hob, microwave, toaster, kettle all in excellent order. The staff were lovely. Kirsty and Leah in particular could not have been more helpful. Thank you to Deuce for making our stay a great one."

"This was an excellent property, immaculate in fact, plenty of storage ,everything was spotlessly clean, modern and well maintained. Beautiful bedrooms , comfy beds, loads of storage again . Everything had been well thought out . Good enclosed garden great for our dog . Margaret the owner was very helpful , the property was in an excellent position for visiting the surrounding area and Kirk Hammerton itself was a beautiful village and we only wish we could have stayed longer !"

"Great studio close to the station, quiet, and a quick walk into city centre. Good restaurants on the next street, close to the wall if you want to walk. Bed was comfortable, shower good, and washer easy to use. 100% would stay again."
