"A very relaxing holiday in this comfortable accommodation with great lakeside views and a wide variety of bird life. There are 5 pubs in Barton, some with good food and ales only 15 minute walk away. Sunday lunch in the newly renovated George Inn was particularly tasty and good value. Walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds , a trip to Cleethorpes 30 minutes drive away, and a quick bus caught just down the road took us to Hull in 30 minutes for a day round the old town and marina. Highly recommended...

"We met Ash on arrival - lovely host gave a quick tour and left us to it. Narnia is cosy and very comfortable - tucked away in Ash huge garden but very private. Ash was quick to respond when contacted. Cabin had everything we needed and despite the wintery weather we found plenty of local walks from its doorstep as well as relaxing on the veranda listening to the birdsong. We will be back in the warmer months - thank you Ash and family for sharing your lovely space ☺️"

"Enjoyed our 2 day stay was nice and relaxing. Loved the hot tub! One suggestion we would say is perhaps making the hot tub area more covered so you could enjoy it in all weathers. Also, and this is only because we had the dog with us, perhaps make the patio area more enclosed so they are more free to potter around and not wander off especially when other guests are around. "Wonderful stay at Poppy Cottage. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The location is wonderful - very peaceful and lots of things to do. There are lots of walks, bike rentals and Louth has lots of great shops and restaurants. Communication with Emily was perfect. We will definitely visit again."

"We had a lovely time in Connie Cottage. The location was great, peaceful despite being near lots of other cabins and the kids loved playing in the woods. We spent lots of time relaxing in and around the cabin but also went to Mablethorpe (beach and seal sanctuary), the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, Louth leisure centre (good pool for little ones), Tattershall castle and to Hull to visit the Deep - all easily accessible from the cabin. "Imagaine been in a dessert then coming across a magical oasis! Imaculate property, top class spec but the hosts: warm, empathetic, kind not in your face or constant just there for you. My dog Cooper and I definitly rate this as our favourite holiday stay ( and we go to three a year) we are going back. "The property was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend. The house we were in was ideal for us. The house itself was really nicely finished, there was tons of space and it was in a beautiful setting. My young daughter really enjoyed going out to say hello to the chickens in the morning."
