Holy Cow!!! What a find! Really, I can't say enough good things about the hotel, the staff, and our stay.
The room was excellent, beautifully equipped, and every want taken care of. Our mini fridge was stocked daily with soft drinks, water, and a couple of beers. Coffee in the room was excellent. The decor was contemporary mountain and beautiful. Helpfulness of the staff was unbelievable! I would have lost patience with me- but they were kind and knowledgeable. Breakfast was crazy!! Yummmmmm...

This was a true Alpine experience! The hotel was like something out of Swiss Family Robinson. It was pristine in every way. The room had everything we would ever need and the owners/staff couldn’t have been nicer. The breakfast was excellent! I wish I could give it a higher score than a 5!

We arrived in Zermatt by train, and the hotel provided free transportation from the train station. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Very nice hotel, close by the train shuttle station. Has two elevators, a beautiful lobby and excellent dining area. Breakfast was very good; All the 'hotels.com' hotels we have stayed in have provided a good buffet breakfast, clean rooms and good beds. The bed in the Butterfly was softer and more comfortable than all the rest. We would stay here in the future.
