"Although this stay was easy, the pictures are very misleading. The studio is a bedroom with a kitchen and bathroom across the hall. It was fine, just not as nice as the photos appeared when booking. The apartment also smelt of cigarettes intensely. Overall a fine stay."

"An interesting property in extensive grounds shared by the Llamas and one deer. Out granddaughter loved the animals and all the artworks and decorations in the house. It was convenient for Central Lyon with a very efficient bus , train and tram service available. Patrik and Veronique were very friendly and helpful ."

"We wanted a place close to Lyon to use as a starting point for a tour of the Massif Central. La Rafiliere fit the bill perfectly. The countryside in April was gorgeous and the house was clean and comfortable. Our only disappointment was not meeting the donkeys!"

"Nous avons un très bon séjour dans cette maison, parfaite pour un groupe de 6 adultes et idéalement située pour découvrir le pilat. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas pu utiliser la piscine et qu'il y ait un peu trop de poussière dans la maison au moment de notre arrivée. L'arrivée et le départ ont été fait en autonomie. L'hôte était disponible et réactive dans ses messages. Je conseille !!"

"It was such a a surprise to find our backyard was a large garden! Philippe was an exceptional host! His hand drawn map of the local streets was much more useful than Google maps! Downstairs you find the bathroom+ separate toilet and a spacious kitchen equiped with everything a homecook needs. Upstairs are the rooms with garden views. "Had a lovely stay at the mill. The space is large, bright and airy. The surrounding area is picturesque and the mill is an interesting old building with lots of arts, craft and nature to enjoy. Bed was comfy, kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals, shower was great. Highly recommend a stay to disconnect from the fast pace of life and enjoy the slow life."

"Dans l’annonce il est indiqué « magnifique maison ». Elle pourrait l’être mais malheureusement l’entretien et la propreté ne semblent pas être la priorité des propriétaires : jardin à l’abandon, mauvais écoulement de la douche, cafetière Nespresso HS…Quel dommage dans un environnement résidentiel ! Pour info il n’y a qu’une sdb et non comme précisé dans l’annonce"

Une salle de bain ou douche et toilettes supplémentaires pourraient également apporter un plus au logement compte-tenu de sa capacité en couchages."

"Gave us the top floor, climbing that spiral stairs was a work out! Besides that location was good, close to port, transportation and restaurant. Public parking expensive if you have car. I would stay here again, but only if I get a first floor room."
