The Inter-City hotel is basically next door and you can get to it from the southern end of platform 1 via some stairs down to street level. Room was very clean and comfortable, check in staff were very good, even put up with me trying to practice my German. "

I ordered a salmon sandwich from the lobby bar. It must have been off because it made me sick in the middle of the night. I wasn't sure if I should report it, but then I did. The staff were sympathetic, but it took several days...
