Good sized rooms but hotel was slightly on the scruffy side. Pool was green and didn’t appear to be in use. Staff were very helpful. Location is ideal for visiting the USA Navy support base which is just over the road.

First of all. this is NOWHERE NEAR THE AIRPORT. We came in at almost midnight, couldn't reach the hotel to get the "24 hour shuttle" found out that the taxi ride there was 80 Euros and in the wrong direction from town. The only good thing about it was that the rooms were reasonably clean and there was a big breakfast that was included in the price. And wonder how many travelers were taken in by the name...

Mixed reviews. We stayed for a week and the location was perfect - right next to the naval support base, about 25 minutes from the airport. Our room was spacious and kept clean daily, but the mattress was very uncomfortable and pillows were hard. The kitchen had a refrigerator, small microwave, and stove top, but was lacking in utensils to use. Our kitchen had a frying pan, pot, colander, 2 plates, 2 bowls, a few silverware and a large spoon; no glasses or cups; no spatula. There was a kitchen sink, but no dishcloth or dish soap. We made do with what we had and picked up a few things from the store to supplement. There was no coffee maker in room; coffee had to be ordered at breakfast at no charge. We were told this is not unusual for Italy. Breakfast was provided and was surprisingly good. Foods included scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, and several choices of breads and pastries. The staff was pleasant and polite. Air conditioning worked very well which was appreciated due to the hot weather. WiFi was fairly stable.

This hotel looks like it used to be a military barracks maybe for the US military base nearby. The desk and restaurant staff seemed lazy and disinterested in being at work. I asked about getting a mattress topper placed on the rock hard bed, they said they would notify housekeeping however it never happened. The hotel offered breakfast, however the choices are limited and appeared to be old products. We stayed at this hotel for five days and we were ready to check out the moment we checked into our room. Security was visible a few times, however anyone could drive onto the property and walk into the hotel without being challenged, as the entrance gate arms remained open throughout our stay. Marriott has the nerve to be affiliated with this property, they should really send some staff from corporate to see what the customers really think and experience staying here. If I have to come back to Naples, we will find somewhere else to stay.

We stayed at this property specifically for location to Navy base. I was unaware it was Marriott until we checked in and was not allowed to obtain points. The evening staff member was nice, but morning was grouchy.

Over all stay was great. Good location, not far from base, dining, train station & shuttle service to base. Only thing I would recommend is to provide dish soap, a sponge or wash cloth & dish towel. This way guests don’t have to buy their own supplies.

Rooms not ready

We arrive one hour after check-in was possible but the rooms where not ready. We were told to wait for 5 minutes but it took a whole hour. Had we been told that, we would have gone out for a walk in the area.
