"The hotel matron was absolutely delightful and kind. The building, tho older is well maintained and extremely clean. The lobby has so much natural light, making breakfast a joy. The clientele was a mix of short trip folks and extended stay laborers. Very quiet and peaceful. The hotel shares a cul-de-sac with a gas station, ice cream shop, pizza parlor, subway and liquor store. "

"This stay by far exceeded my expectations. The pool area is really nice, the hotel overall was very clean, and our room was immaculate. I will stay there again! The people working were very nice and the owners are on site and very nice as well. "

"I like everything about the hotel on the second floor and Barbacoa restaurant below on the first floor. The owners were easy to talk with and if I were in the area I would definitely stay here again. Note: No elevator but my wife are used to stairs."

The house was spotless and welcoming when we arrived, is fully stocked for anything you need, and had plenty of room to spread out, play games, hang out in the yard, fish from the dock, and enjoy the beautiful lake view.
