"This is truly a unique and special property providing incredible value . One of the most beautiful views in a spectacular setting hidden away in the Tuscan hills above Panzano. A perfect location for day trips to vinyards, restaurants and the Chianti area. Our apartment was extremely well appointed and beautifully decorated. Spacious and varied outdoor sitting areas and patios with a very nice pool area. Our hostess Babette was extremely accomodating and informative which added to our overall enjoyment during our stay. Truly a 5 star property and one of the best we have ever stayed at anywhere."

"The kitchen was well equipped, had a big stove, 3 sinks, plenty of dishes, a separate coffee area with another huge sink. The castle gave each couple plenty of room for privacy and yet had space to gather, talk, play games....it is very spacious. It was hard to pick where to meet up because everywhere was so nice. As a family of 18 the big dining room worked perfectly for us. I loved setting the long table, cooking dinner and looking down the table with the family all so happy. The pool was wonderful although it was not real close it was fun. It was hard to leave the castle! "

"This place was awesome. I travel a lot and this place was just a hidden gem. I am scared to give give it five stars because everyone will start discovering and I want to book for next fall or spring. The breakfast was excellent. Only 8 rooms. Overlooks Florence. The hosts were so nice. The host recommend a restaurant for in a small Villiage the first night. The steak Florentino in the village blew the steak in Florence away. We went for a quick weekend trip to watch MotoGP race. After staying here I will come back to just spend a relaxing week there in solitude. It was EXCELLENT. But please don’t book it when I want to go back. "

From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the stunning views of the vineyards and the peaceful, romantic atmosphere. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with fragrant gardens, shaded terraces, and plenty of spots to sit and soak in the scenery. The pool is a dream — cool, refreshing, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the rolling hills of Chianti. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, featuring fresh local ingredients, homemade pastries, and the most delicious Italian coffee you could ask for. We also enjoyed an amazing dinner at the villa — flavorful, beautifully presented, and full of regional variety. Everything from the wine selection to the dessert was thoughtfully curated. The staff deserves special mention — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel at home and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. With its mix of rustic elegance, modern comforts, and authentic Tuscan charm, Villa Le Barone is a true gem. We can’t wait to return. "

"Great location in the heart Chianti. The host was very welcoming and the apartment was perfect. very comfortable bed and very quiet location. Nice terrace and pool but unfortunately the weather wasnt warm enough for us to enjoy the pool. There is a dirt road to get to the apartment but very easy to navigate so dont be worried about it. Thank you Babette, we hope to have the pleasure of going back sometime."
