Next House Copenhagen - Hostel
10/10 Excellent
"I'd never stayed in a hostel before so I was nervous of everything people say about hostels. I had no need to be worried. Staff were super helpful when I first got there as I prefer having a key rather than using my phone, so they set me up with that, and were more than happy to ensure I had a lower bed due to my disability. The solo traveller meet up is a fantastic idea, and the free drink which comes with it was a fantastic bonus. The rooms were perfect for what we needed, it was just a shame we couldn't have the room cleaned due to a couple of the others spending a lot of time in bed. Brilliant location just down the road from Tivoli and the main station, and there was a swimming area in the harbour less than 5 minutes walk away. Such a perfect place to stay!"

Phoenix Copenhagen

"The location is very central. Close to all touristic attractions, walking distance. The beds are extremely comfortable, it’s like sleeping on a cloud. I also appreciated the pillows. I like a lower pillow and I loved that we had both the lower or higher pillows. We stayed for 3 nights and they were refilling the Nespresso, changing towels, and room cleaning if we chose it. It’s kind of less done in hotels nowadays. So if you are staying more than a day, you might not get room maintenance. I didn’t like their shower at all because the glass only goes halfway and the shower floor is at the same level as the rest of the bathroom. Even if you are very careful, the water goes on the floor of the bathroom. Also the shower floor is slippery but they had provided us with a bathtub mat which made it safer. Their breakfast was also very nice. It introduced us to danish specialties such as pålægschokolade. It is the Danish alternative to Nutella."

Wakeup Copenhagen Bernstorffsgade
8/10 Good
"The hotel location was excellent - at the edge of the historic city center and about 10 min walk from the main railway station! The room was pretty "compact" (fortunately we had only 1 mid-size luggage and a couple small backpacks), but it's okey for the price. I would only suggest to make the shower panels of different non-transparent material. Otherwise, when someone wanted to use it after dark and turned on the light, the whole room was illuminated! Regarding the breakfast, some rotation of the products would be appreciated... But nothing could beat the 360 city view from the breakfast cafe at 10th floor!"

Copenhagen Island Hotel

"Nice property in Copenhagen. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, enjoyed our stay. The room was small, however (2 Travellers). The bathtub was also very small ... showers were not enjoyable. Lastly, if your room faces the city, it can get quite noisy with vehicle traffic. Ear plugs are recommended!"
