Great little property. A simple quiet and comfortable cabin, just what we were looking for on vacation.
Brief two-night stay in one of a cluster of cabins in Greer, AZ. Listing was accurate, and there were no surprises. Cabin and location met our needs (respite from Tucson summer heat). No problems with booking or payment. All communications were within the Vrbo email structure; we had no urgent needs requiring more. My wife would've liked a hair dryer for her abundant locks, but that's on us for not confirming dryer status before we arrived. One star is missing from the "communication" rating because our query about a hair dryer apparently got lost in the ether. Dog friendly! We would book there again.
All staff was great, cabin was ok but shower was not cleaned as there was lots of hair in drain. There is a water leak that needs repaired flowing in front of cabin stairs. We were other wise pleased and would return. Maybe supply a broom and dust pan in cabin...thank you very much
I expected the cabin to be not as clean as some of the reviews had mention but it was pretty clean.Had just about all the items we needed to cook in the kitchen. Grill was working and a full tank of propane. Wood was provided for the fireplace.Communication with property management was good except for when they did not response. We use the fire place but there was no tools to clean it up. I ask what was need to done or will property clean it up but no response. I ended up using cardboard as a pan and broom and did my best to clean it up.Ultimately it was a good experience and would stay there again.
Family reunion in another location of Greer. Additional information in book would've been helpful. I.e.: Lighting of trees (found at end of trip), Summer cooling and feeder attached to tree.
My husband & I loved our stay! The house was clean & ready for us. Gage the maintence
As I was saying above Gage the maintenance man was right her to help when we were having trouble with the gas stove in the front room & traded out the T.V. for one that worked. He was a very polite young man. We will definitely be coming back to The Aspens!

Disappointed
When we got there it was dark, no lights were on, the floors were not swept or mopped, and were dirty. There was no broom or mop to clean with so I had to buy one. There was some kind of outside water leak, that made it hard for us to use the stairs and it was a bit smelly and we killed several spiders.

There are better options
Greer it fantastic, this cabin not so much. Neighboring cabins are EXTREMELY close and when there are 2-3 dogs constantly barking with owners screaming at dogs for barking, it was not great for me or my dog. Huge water leak at entry to cabin, windowsills were loaded with dead bugs, 2 of the 4 blinds were inoperable to raise/lower, open or close, corners of the rooms loaded with dust and small debris. No fan provided. Nowhere to put suitcases or clothes in the bedrooms, you have to move the living room chairs into bedroom.
Bathroom was newer with great water pressure and hot shower, although nowhere to hang towel after use.
Good stay. We stayed in the winter. The pros: We slept well and it was very quiet. Free firewood. Nice hot shower. Thankfully the propane heat worked well and combined with a wood fireplace we were comfortable. The beds were comfortable and cabin clean. Pet friendly and good area to walk them. The host was fast to communicate.
Cons:
The cabin was drafty and the main door didn't seal well. None of the windows locked and were super cold. Thermal curtains would be a good addition. Entrance to the cabin was really.muddy. hard to keep the floors clean. Very little was in the kitchen. Recommend bringing your own hot pads, paper plates, or anything you need to cook with. Bring your own ground coffee. Cabin had a few minor matinence issues: missing heat lamp in the bathroom, missing a light bulb, kitchen sink wouldn't drain, tv remote dead and no batteries available. Needs new door seal on main door. Needs smoke detector and CO2 detector.
Great property with just the right amount of convenience for a holiday getaway. Clean. Quiet. Communicative host. We had 0 problems during our 3 night stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Close enough to Main Street to walk but far enough away to avoid any traffic.
